This page contains important legal information that anyone purchasing a Generation X Design product should be aware of. This information is also displayed when your software is installed and on the printed card accompanying your CD.

Backing Up

 

Our products allow you to store and retrieve all kinds of information.

If you have purchased or are considering a Generation X Design product then it is essential that you perform frequent backups of your data. We highly recommend that you make a backup schedule and that you save all backups on CDs or some other portable media and store these in a secure location. This means that if your office or home is burgled or your computer develops a fault then you will still be able to recover your information.

All our products are supplied with tools making this very easy to do. For instructions on how to perform a back up please see the "How To Backup Data" topic in your help file.

If you have purchased a GX-Ware Server class product then please look at the help file installed on the server computer.

Please be aware that Generation X Design accepts no responsibility for lost data arising from your failure to make backups. This means that if your computer crashes loosing all your company data and you haven't made a backup then we are not to blame.
