GX-Ware Security Scanning allows you to retrieve important information about a resource such as a customer or an employee very quickly. Scanners take a variety of shapes and sizes and depend on how or where you will install them.

The following hand scanner is currently in used by one of our customers, they have a children's club where each child is issued a membership card on joining the club. Whenever the child enters the club they present their card which is scanned using the hand scanner below. If the child has forgotten their card then their name and address can be looked up manually. Because there are always quite a few children who have misplaced their cards the hand scanner provides for easy transition between the scanner and the computer keyboard.

Many of our customers require specialist kinds of printer, for example Generation X Design ourselves use GX-Ware to manage our list of customers. When we have a new customer we add then to the system and then print out a label containing the License Key and Serial Number for the choice of product. We then stick this label onto the box before shipping it out to the customer.

One of our launderette customers prints receipts containing barcodes that will identify both the customer and what clothes they want cleaned. At the moment the Star Micronics TSP 100 series available from the Barcode Warehouse is the most popular model.
